Hang-AR Magnetic Surface Mount Adapter

Description

Turn suitable vertical steel surfaces into flexible Hang-AR storage and display locations—without drilling permanent mounting holes. The Hang-AR Magnetic Surface Mount Adapter attaches and repositions in seconds, making it easy to use otherwise unused space on gun safes, steel cabinets, metal doors, machinery, tactical walls, and other magnetic surfaces.

Made by Hang-AR at our shop in Seminole, Florida, the adapter uses two custom-designed neodymium magnets and a rubber contact surface to help protect finishes and resist sliding. Its standard round interface works with every Hang-AR mount, allowing the attached mount to determine the firearm’s storage orientation.

Fitment and use

Designed for suitable vertical magnetic steel surfaces. The adapter has been tested on steel 16 gauge or thicker and can hold through typical finishes. Actual holding strength depends on the steel thickness, surface shape, finish, cleanliness, load, and operating conditions. Test the complete installation before use.

Some vehicle applications may be possible, but movement, vibration, impact, and changing conditions require careful evaluation. Do not use the adapter for overhead mounting.

Important information

Clean the mounting surface and test holding strength before use. Avoid sliding the adapter across delicate finishes. Keep fingers clear of the magnets during placement, keep the product away from children, and use appropriate caution around medical devices, electronics, and magnetic cards.

Lockable Hang-AR mounts physically work with this adapter, but the magnetic adapter itself can be removed from the steel surface. A lockable mount therefore does not secure the complete installation to the structure. Use this configuration for convenient storage and display, not theft prevention or access control.

Always follow applicable firearm-safety practices and prevent unauthorized access to stored firearms. Firearm and Hang-AR mount are not included.

Warranty

Backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, modification, normal wear, or finish damage is generally excluded. Hang-AR may provide additional warranty consideration at its discretion.
